Return Policy

We are a small handmade-focused studio. Due to the original nature of each item, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds. Please let us know if you are unhappy with your order, and we will do our best to address any concerns. Custom orders are billed at the time of request.

Shipping

We offer free domestic shipping! All orders ship within 2-3 days of purchase via USPS Priority Mail. Expedited shipping options are available at an additional cost. Please contact us, if you need your purchase sooner. For international orders, customs and import duties are determined by the receiving country, and are the buyer's responsibility. Weaving & Forging is not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit.

Clog Care

Each of our wooden soles is truly unique, with distinctive lines and curves just like the best of us. While our clog bases are light and solid, please care for them! No varnishes are used on our end, just natural wax and a dose of elbow grease to buff to a lovely subtle rub. If your wooden soles need a pick-me-up, we suggest using only natural wax. If the outsole rubber on the bottom of your soles comes off or loose, please see your local cobbler right away for repair.

Wooden Soles

Are wooden sole shoes comfortable? Great question! In our opinion, wooden sole shoes are very comfortable. If you have not worn wooden sole shoes before, they make take a little getting used to. Wooden sole shoes have been a mainstay in European footwear for many years, and my clogs are aligned with that philosophy. My bases are gently contoured to the shape of the foot and the wood is relatively lightweight.

Clog Returns

Since each clog is hand-nailed, not stapled, that means hours of labor and love! Due to the original and custom nature of each item, we are unable to issue refunds. We will accept returns for exchange or shop credit only, within 14 days of receipt to your address and returned back to our studio. Clogs must be in new, unworn and original condition to be approved for return. We reserve the right to determine if clogs are in condition for return.

Please note: If clogs are returned to our studio damaged from customer wear or mishandling, with the expectation that they will be considered for return or exchange, they will fall within the guidelines of our return and exchange policy, and will remain at our studio. We never ship damaged product from our studio.  

Our clogs are carved from a single block of wood. As with any wood, if you hit them against a hard surface, they may crack. For this reason, we do not accept returns on cracked clogs, nor are we able to repair worn clogs.
